Based in the lovely suburb of Subiaco, with a sub-centre in Leeming, Concept facilities are designed with the highest environmental considerations. This allows us to provide cutting edge technologies and an extensive range of reproductive medicine services, to both couples and individuals who need help to create a family.
Concept Fertility’s Bulk Billed Program has been created to provide patients who are struggling to access treatment with an affordable alternative. The Bulk Billed Program at Concept Fertility is a newly launched service (2019) and replaces our Standard IVF and Standard FET Programmes.
Essential Information For Patients Considering Bulk Bill IVF:
1. Not all patients will be eligible to access our bulk billed treatments. Your suitability will be determined by the treating Doctor and is based on your individual circumstances.
2. Complex fertility treatments are excluded* from bulk bill treatment programmes. The following interventions are excluded:
- Donor eggs
- Donor embryos
- Assisted Hatching
- Genetic testing (example: PGS/PGD)
- Surgical Sperm Recovery (example: TESA/MESA)
3. You will need to discuss your individual requirements and needs with your treating Doctor, who will discuss with you the full eligibility criteria.
4. Patients must have a valid Medicare card and access to Medicare rebates to access Bulk Bill treatment programs.
5. Patients are not required to have Private Health Insurance however; you will have associated out of pocket expenses for Day Hospital admission if you do not have private health cover, or if your policy has an excess.
6. Patients are required to pay some Out of Pocket Expenses that are not covered by Medicare this may include additional medications. View additional costs such as consultation costs and out-of-pocket expenses.
7. Patients with Frozen Embryo’s at other clinics can access our Bulk Billed FET (frozen embryo transfer) treatment program. Conditions and costs may apply.
8. If patients are not eligible for the bulk billed treatments Concept Fertility Centre has Tailored Treatment Programmes that can be designed to your individual circumstances.

To keep costs low, patients are assigned a specialist and are often in contact with nurses or support staff. Complex cases generally cannot be treated. There can be wait-lists for appointments and communications generally require the patient to follow-up.
